Well, it seems like our plans to buy a new house may be on hold for now. D found out yesterday that there is not a whole lot of work out there right now. He is working the night shift this week then after this week we don't know what he is going to be doing. Hopefully his company will have somewhere else for him to go otherwise its off to the unemployment office for him.
Luckily we are prepared for this kind of thing. We have money in savings but dang I really hate to use that money. And our house buying plans will go on hold until he gets put on a more permanent job. In the meantime I will just watch what I spend and we are definately having a garage sale to make some money.

{{{COURT}}}i'm soooo sorry to hear that. :( That is always the worst fear, but sounds like you are ahead of the game a bit so good for you.
As for not finding the right house, i guess it's a blessing in disguise. Great things come to those who wait although it surely sucks having to wait! (TEARS)
